About
Since embarking on his professional journey, Joshua considers himself very blessed to be where he is today in the pursuit of a graduate degree from the capstone of higher education, the University of Alabama. He once thought that higher education was a pipe dream as he ground away in a manufacturing plant, but after picking himself up by his bootstraps and taking advantage of key opportunities he came to realize that dreams can come true with discipline, patience, and relentless work ethic. Joshua enjoys reviewing plant process through the lens of quality assurance and identifying areas for improvement. He as a decade of manufacturing and quality experience in which he has developed an aptitude of problem solving skills with quality principles.  In addition, he is also passionate about his Christian faith and marriage as he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two dogs, and their flock of backyard chickens. In his spare time he enjoys exercising, camping, and traveling.

Career Goals
Joshua is a driven professional with over 10 years of manufacturing and quality experience looking to utilize his skills in risk analysis, customer service, communications and problem management. He aspires to opportunities in quality engineering positions for industries related to aerospace, nuclear, and medicine.

Quality Coordinator, ATI Huntsville Operations
January 2012Â - Present
As of January 2012 Joshua has served as a Quality Coordinator for ATI Huntsville Operations. In this role he creates product certificates of quality for aerospace, uncle, nuclear, and medical industries according to customer and industrial specifications. In addition, he reviews metallurgical and chemical data per specifications. He is also a surveillance auditor in which he participates in internal/external audits including ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance.  He is also responsible for tracking product non-conformancees for continuous improvement tasks.
Production Technician, ATI Huntsville Operations
September 2007Â - December 2011
In this capacity, he was proficient in the use and operation of centerless grinders, belt polishers, and abrasive saws for bar and rod products (i.e Titanium, Zirconium, Niobium). He was also responsible for the creation and the implementation of Task Element Standardization projects. Also, Joshua was the production representative that participated in the review and implementation of the OHSAS 18001 standard.

Joshua earned his BS degree in Behavioral Science in order to better understand human behavior as it relates to the modern world in which he lives. This has enabled him to better connect and establish relationships through understanding and empathizing with individuals of from a diverse set of backgrounds.
